This page explains some of our daily activities.
Kids Helping Kids
Some are better at math than others and some at Spanish, etc. All upper classpersons are able to help the primaries. So we have tutoring classes. Whenever one or several are having difficulties with a subject, we schedule a regular time when they come to our teacher's house so another student can conduct a class for them until such the time when they need no more help.
English Practice
Because we realize that second to the Bible, English is the most important class for us, we have a daily English practice for upper class students. At these practice we take the time to discuss things always talking in English. Mostly we discuss our plans for our revolution and how we think to solve some problems in Nicaragua. When our Internet is working, we also read news from around the world about lots to things - always reading in English.
English Class
For the younger students and for students not yet attending the private school, we present a weekly English class. Our teacher wrote for the computer a good program to assist learning with many dictionaries to see pictures and say words. She says we do not have a livingroom in her house. This is true because always this room is some kind of classroom or Bible fellowship room. Juan, Francis, Jazmina, Mario, Marlon, Alex, and Jimmy teach the Saturday English classes. They are split into groups of beginners, intermediate, and advanced.
Computer Class
One by one our teacher collected computers and our friends in Georgia in the U.S., January and Jim, gave us two so we have now nine computers. This provide us the opportunity to learn more in classes. It is why we can do pictures and other things for this web site. This class is optional, and not all chavalos come, but all have been required to learn to send email, and each has regular scheduled time each month to send and receive electronic letters.
Each thursday the Prepies receive Computer Class. Our teacher teach us how we can create webpages for a website, and how to use in a correct way the computer.
