We call ourselves 'Chavalos Nica'. In English this means 'Nica Kids'. We are children of the poor of Nicaragua. Our families are poor. Our houses are not fine or big. Many of our mothers have no stove, and cook our meals with wood fires outside the house. Some of us have no electricity in our house, and some have no bathroom inside the house. Many of our parents earn less than $1 a day.

But we are more than all of that. We are children of God, and believe He has called us together in a group with a lifetime committment to make Nicaragua better. Together we study the Bible, share God's Word with other kids and adults, give away lots of Bibles, and go to school, and work hard on our English.
We are preparing to make a new revolution in Nicaragua, not with guns but with education, and with the power of our knowledge of God's Word.
Education is a big problem because public schools in Nicaragua are ineffective, and do not prepare you to be an educated adult.

You too can become a part of our revolution. If interested write to Jazmina at: jazmina @ chavalosnicas.com. (She's the girl with white blouse above).
